Do you know the top exporter from Peru to the Netherlands in 2024, according to figures from the ADEX Exporters Association? Newly named: NLAndes – Peruvian-Dutch Chamber of Commerce had the opportunity to visit it.

PERU LNG is the company that operates the first natural gas processing plant in South America, positioning Peru as a leader in the liquefied natural gas (LNG) industry in the region, consisting of a 408-kilometer pipeline, an LNG processing plant and a maritime terminal.

The LNG processing plant is the first and only of its kind in South America that produces this gas.

The Plant and Pipeline operations are managed by Hunt LNG Operating Company. S.AC, which performs its operations not only in compliance with the highest national and international standards, but also surpasses them, becoming an example of best practices in technical, occupational safety, social, and environmental matters. It also uses Dutch technology, including the ShoreTension system, to implement its dock.
